  • BARGE/RIG MOORING
    SIKAMAN provides winch control and monitoring solutions for measuring line tension, payout and speed in single or multi-point rig mooring applications.

    UTILITY SERVICES- cable pulling and monitoring

    DREDGING
    Dredging operations often rely on several winch related activities from mooring to the dredge head lines. SIKAMAN’s instrumented running line tensiometers are a superior choice for decimal point accuracy in payout and tension monitoring. Our design provides a smaller footprint than other models and is rapidly deployable for retrofitting existing winch systems. In combination with our line control displays, they provide real time and historical data to winch operators, bridge crew, and even remote operation centers or headquarters.     WELL SERVICING
    SIKAMAN is working with land based well servicing companies to provide instrumentation for the mainline and the sandline winches on well-servicing rigs.
    The goal of these projects is to increase operator and equipment safety through decimal point accuracy in hook load and downhole depth

    WIRELINE
    SIKAMAN has provided the LCI-90i display to bring decimal point accuracy to down-hole tools and applications. Our displays (both the LCI-90i and the LCI-80) have been incorporated in slickline rigs and skid units. Our displays are built for rugged, all-weather conditions.

    TEST BED INSTRUMENTATION
    SIKAMAN supports new and retrofit test bed installations with new sensors, displays and PC software for data-logging.
    We can provide sensors for displacement (stretch), load, safety, hydraulic pressure and speed.

    DECOKING
    SIKAMAN provides decoking winch retrofit monitoring solutions. Our running line tensiometers can be fitted to existing decoking winches without reterminating the line, and provide accurate line tension, speed, and payout for the decoking head.
    TUGBOATS
    SIKAMAN has worked with leading tugboat companies to provide accurate and reliable winch monitoring solutions for all tugboat/workboat applications.

     MINING
    SIKAMAN supports mining companies by monitoring the lifting cables on shaft elevators. Distributing the line tension equally and ensuring that all cables are lifting at the same rate helps increase safety by maintaining work platform stability.

Rental

We rent running line tensiometers (cable line riders) for short term projects.  Our RLTs can accommodate up to 4.5” wire rope and 1 million pounds of line tension
